Where every donation tells a story
Your donations to the Friends of the Public Library help our libraries, our community and our planet!
Your used books, games and puzzles will find a new home and the proceeds of our sales support programs at our local libraries. Any items that are not eligible for resale are recycled whenever possible.
We are happy to receive your donations of:
- Used books
- Magazines
- CDs
- DVDs
- Puzzles
- Games
We do not accept donations of cassette tapes or VHS tapes.
How to Donate
Large Donations
(2 or more large boxes/bins)
- Wednesdays between 10 am and 2 pm.
- Accepted at the garage door on the Hillsdale side of our building.
- This is the only day when volunteers are prepared to provide assistance to carry and unload boxes.
For donations of 8 or more boxes, please make an appointment by calling (513) 369-6035 or send an email to info@cincylibraryfriends.org.
Walk-in Donations
(1-2 bags or boxes)
- Accepted through the front door of the warehouse during regular shopping hours
- This option is best for small donations you can carry on your own. We cannot guarantee volunteer assistance outside of the designated donation times on Wednesday.
Library Donations
(few books)
- Donations of a few books are welcome at any library branch location.
- Donation bins are usually available near the checkout area for donations waiting to be brought to the Friends Warehouse.
A receipt for your tax deductible donation may be provided for donations dropped off at the Warehouse.
